Could you announce this as a PSA? On January 17, 2019, a local resident of Apple Valley, Kyle Hugunin, was killed on Hwy 330 outside Running Springs, by a hit-and-run driver. He was nearest Mile Marker 33 and apparently, had exited the car he was riding in and was walking in the road. We are submitting this letter to a request radio advertisement in support of the 8th annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is an annual Easter Egg Hunt, free to the community. This year we have partnered with Catholic Charities and High Desert Equality. We will also have an information booth, food booths and various vendor booths, including one for a company that will be giving out free cell phones to those who qualify. For entertainment, we will have an Easter bunny, an Easter egg hunt (including a hunt for special needs kids), games, face painting, and bounce houses. We are expecting anywhere between 300 to 700 children to attend.

On November 1-2, 2019, we will be hosting a faith-based conference entitled Faith & Mental Health at the Family Worship Center in Colton, CA. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Donna Scott, D. TH. She is the author of "The Demonization of Mental Illness." Our goal is for the conference to be a collection of powerful presentations with a common focus of helping pastors, faith leaders, counselors, and other mental health providers address mental health in their communities. The sessions will provide faith leaders and mental health providers with ways to address, treat and meet the needs that exist in today’s faith-based communities. The presentations will increase participants awareness, understanding and instruct in practical application with tools.
