I worked on-air at KMER from September, 1983 to spring 1989. Jim Carroll was the GM, I was PD, Sports Director and morning DJ. Ken Rand was the news director, John Dallas Evans was middays and Jim Thoney was afternoons. It was wonderful radio station. Small town radio at its finest. They were some of the best years of my life. Stay strong, KMER!

I too worked at KMER. Dan Koland hired me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there very long, as the owner hired a combo man (engineer & on-air person). The staff was the same when I was there except for Jim Thoney. Enjoyed my brief time at K-95. As Dab wrote, stay strong KMER!!
