Listener Comments and Reviews

Hello; I'm trying to find the owner of a US Army Air Corps ID tag that I found in 1966 . The name,Robert M Pohl ,along with his service number helped me find out that he enlisted in 1943 in Albany,New York,so I doubt if he's still alive. My research shows that he has a son,Robert Alan Pohl, age 55. The information shows that he lives in Pioria,Illinois. I'm hoping you might be able to help me return this piece of family history to his family. Please let me know if you can help Thanks; Ed Foster

Greetings, I represent Barb Smith, former Division I college basketball coach of thirty years, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and advocate for all levels of leadership. With a background in organizational behavior, she is known for building teams who understand the value of teamwork on and off the court. Smith is an advocate for student-athletes, coaches, and business leaders who oversee teams of individuals across the country. I am reaching out to you today to determine if your public radio format allows for live interviews with local leaders. Smith has just published and released her first book on leadership, 'Beyond the Talent: Profile of a Winning Team.' In 'Beyond the Talent,' Smith reveals her research and highlights her findings touring, interviewing, and observing over eighty sports programs nationwide from youth leagues, high schools, collegiate, and professional levels. Smith’s research identifies six key elements that consistently surface and highlights the dynamics and interactions that must first come together to build a championship team. SIX KEY ELEMENTS INCLUDE: 1) The Leader, 2) The Workhorse, 3) The Voice, 4) The Connector, 5) The Teacher, and 6) The Diffuser “When the foundation of teams is strengthened and members choose to work cohesively, the outcomes harvest amazing results. Beyond the Talent offers concepts for coaches and leaders at every level to learn something new or try something different.” –Barb Smith During these challenging times, when individuals are looking for positive leadership, I would like to discuss the opportunity for your listeners to hear positive messages about building successful, cohesive teams in a live interview with Barb. Please confirm if an opportunity exists for Barb to address and motivate your listeners to reach their peak potential during a live interview within the near future. As her editor and representative, please contact me directly to schedule an interview with Barb or discuss any questions. Thank you in advance for your professional consideration.
