I am Morgan Helman from Tri-County North High School in Lewisburg, Ohio. Is there a cost to be promoted on your radio station? The Class of 2018 is hosting a 5k color run on May 21, 2016. Is there anyway we could get this promote to get the word out? Thanks!

Hello, My name is Steven Bass and I am part of the coordination team for an event bringing awareness to veteran’s suicide on October 22, 2016. I am writing to respectfully request any assistance in getting the word out regarding the event. The event “RuckUp22” is a 22 mile ruck march for veteran’s suicide prevention and awareness. All proceeds will benefit the “Battle Buddy Foundation” (www.tbbf.org). Cost will be 422 and ruckers are encouraged to carry 22lbs in their ruck for the event (although not mandatory). The theme of 22 is to bring awareness that every day 22 veteran’s take their own lives. Burdened with the stigma associated with mental health issues and potential shame surrounding PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome), they instead turn to suicide as their only option to relieve suffering. More information can be found on the vent FaceBook page at “RuckUp22.” Provisions have also been made to contribute in lieu of participating. If there is a way for you to assist in promoting the event and getting the word out, that would be greatly appreciated. Attached is also the vent flyer which directs people to the necessary information should they choose to contribute. Thank you for your time. Respectfully, Steven Bass

Please announce this event as a PSA. Chuy's, the Mexican Restaurant in the Fairfield Commons Mall in Beavercreek, is teaming up with Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy to provide a benefit fundraiser to assist in training and equipping local therapy dogs. The event will be held at the restaurant on Friday, September 14, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Chuy's will donate 10 percent of their sales during that time to Best Friends. A number of the therapy dog teams will be available to greet visitors just outside the restaurant during the hours of the fundraiser. Established in August 2006, Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy is a non-profit, 501c3 organization based in southwest Ohio. The membership is made up of the volunteer dog and human teams who visit facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes throughout the area as well as individual patrons and corporate sponsors who support the efforts of these teams through their donations. If you have questions, please call Sarah Leonard at (210) 663-7943 or email her at sleonardsg@gmail.com.
