Amazing Grace Lutheran Church is hosting a food packaging event on Saturday Nov. 8th from 1-5 p.m. at the church at 1601 Jefferson Street in Paducah, KY.
These packaged meals include rice, soy, dried vegetables and a vitamin and mineral packet. Each meal packaged is then distributed both in the United States to the homeless people and also to third world countries who are hungry and very poor. Amazing Grace's goal is 7,200 meals. This is our first attempt at packaging these meals. Captive Free Volunteers will instruct on proper packaging and boxing of meals. Come share an afternoon of love, music and an all around fun event.
