The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies is pleased to bring you the Festival of Advent Lessons and Carols. This service of choral music, hymns, and readings from the Bible brings to life the longing and expectation of God's people for their coming Messiah. The Festival will be directed by Dr. James R. Hart, IWS President, with assistance from Mark Scott, Director of the Florida Vocal Association, and organist Brenda Scott. The choir and instrumentalists will be composed of musicians from around the First Coast region.

I would love to know the music being played about 9:50 a.m. this morning. I was on my way home from church and heard this beautiful music. I listen to you every time I am in my car.

Like others, I am also wondering where Family Radio has gone. Could you please let us know if your station has moved? I am hoping the station is still on the radio and will not only be available through the internet. I have missed this station. God Bless Family Radio.

From everything I have seen on-line, it appears that WJFR Jax FL 87.7 has indeed gone off the radio airwaves. I even tried the local telephone# and got only the disconnected tone and canned announcement of disconnection. I know many old listeners who enjoyed WJFR for the programming, even though disagreeing with Pastor Predictor Harold Camping. We enjoyed wonderful Ministers like, Omar Andeel, Dr. Robert Cook’s “Walk WITH the King”, the Radio Reading Circle, as well as beautiful Scripture Reading. We are now at a loss, and void that only God can fill. May HE fill it with HIS powerful presence today and throughout, until HIS return. NO PREDICTIONS HERE!

I have tried for the past 10 months to communicate to Family Radio of my frustration at not hearing the station at FULL POWER. Their excuse is that they have ordered a new antenna and applied to the city of Jacksonville / FCC for a construction permit. I advised them that commercial stations don't seem to have this problem and I was reminded that Family Radio is listener supported. I said that's fine if your listeners could hear you, they might support you! Of course I was reminded of the various options and listening platforms available thru the internet. I said that may be OK for some, but it is kinda hard to get my Commodore 64 computer into my car

I echo Mr. Sinclair's thoughts and I have received the same reply when asked about when WJFR will return to the Free Air-waves. Here it is May 2020 and STILL no WJFR. I have supported Family Radio in the past, but will not until the station is up and running. Call it a Catch 22 perhaps. None-the-less, it has been too long.

I have the same sentiments about the station being off the radio. I've been listening to it on my phone app, but it's an inconvenience when you only have a phone and no other computer source.
