Please announce the following as often as possible up until the event, on the public service part of your programming: "Elliott County Minnie Adkins Day, July 21, 2018 from 8 am to 4 pm, Little Sandy Lodge, 1916 N. KY 7 & 32, Sandy Hook, KY. A day celebrating Folk Art, Fine Art, and Crafts. Minnie's work has appeared all over the world and is in the National Gallery of Art and Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. She now has her own festival in her home county in Eastern Kentucky. A day filled with art, food, fun and music. Spaces to set up are $10. Admission to the events is free. Call 606-738-5515 for more information."

An event honoring the life of Isaiah (Zay). Eleven year old Isaiah Adkins lost his life to a rare disorder known as Niemann-Pick Disease Type C (NPC). NPC causes fat cells to accumulate on vital organs and shut them down. An estimated one hundred children in America suffer from NPC. All proceeds from ZAY DAY go to the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation (NNPDF) to aid in finding a cure.
Join us in honoring the life of Isaiah Adkins and enjoy visits from Disney princesses, Batman and Wonder Woman, Power Rangers and Jericho the Clown! There will be Concessions, Face painting, Inflatables, Raffles, Games, a Cornhole Tournament and lots more!
