Listener Comments and Reviews

Greetings, I would like to invite your listeners to the December 3rd, 2017, Open House event, 2-4 pm, at Calendine. The open house includes tours of the museum, music by the Shenandoah Valley Minstrels at the meeting house, and light refreshments. There will be decorated holiday kissing balls and wreaths available by the Hill & Valley Garden Club. The Calendine Museum, on Hamburg Road off Rt. 211 west of Luray, was built in 1840 for Townsend Young who ran a general store and stagecoach stop in the adjacent building. Calendine is best known as the residence of the renowned Barbee family. William Randolph Barbee (1818-1868) was famed as a classic sculptor whose life-sized statues were highly praised by the critics. William Randolph's son, Herbert Barbee, (1848-1936) was born in Page County. His legacy to Page County is the Confederate Monument on Luray's East Main Street. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me by email or call Nancy Cotter at 540-743-3629.

Was listening around 9:00 PM last night (4-23-18) when you played Money for Nothing by Dire Straits. Very disappointed that you chopped up the song. If you don't like it the way it was written, don't play it. It's that simple.

I enjoy your selection of hits, but not the repetition. Please mix it up more. Seems like that was not the case when the station first aired, but now programming is a little stale. Thank you!
