I am what is known as a Radio Ham, however having an interest in World Music too, and also have friends that live in Albany NY, I decided to looked to see what broadcast radio stations in this area of the US. Well I was astounded to find Troy FM 105.3 which has very diverse listening, I am keen follower of music from Senegal (Africa) and of Tamil music (India) albeit I have not heard any music from India as yet, but listening to various musical cultures is very pleasing to me. Troy FM I have now enjoyed listening to for a short time now and I hope for much longer. In the UK we do have diverse music but the English listener is not so keen on listening to such a diverse Worldwide variety as I am, therefore disappointingly it is not catered for here in the UK I shall now be a regular listener of Troy FM in order to listen to such diverse world music compositions.
