There is a local Irish Rock band from Rochester that I would love to here on your Celtic segment. The name of the band is 1916, they just had their CD release party on St. Patrick's Day. You can find them on facebook .Management: Eddie Sheridan Members: Bill Herring- guitar, banjo, lead vocals. Steve Ladue- drums, Jake Publicover-rhythm guitar, Tony Thireos-Lead Guitar, Chris VanCleve-upright bass. I saw them play at the Emerald Room during the Rochester St. Pat's Day Parade and again at a bar called Sheridans. There awesome.

Tony is one of the most organic versatile guitarists I have ever seen. I saw him play in Pensacola, FL in 1991 and he brought the house down. Too bad he is not playing with 1916 any more.
