Listener Comments and Reviews

Would like to congratulate WROE on being the latest FM station in Roanoke to sign on the air. I am a former Roanoke DJ & board operator for several stations including WROV-AM and WFIR. Would like to suggest 3 types of music that are not currently aired on any station in this market. 1. Polka music 2. Doo Wop 3. Smooth Jazz. If you would be interested in any of these music formats, I would very much like to discuss it with you. Feel free to e-mail me at the above address or phone me at 540 561-0951. Look forward to hearing from you. Sincerly, Mark Portzer

I just stumbled on to WROE at 12:00 noon. What a wonderful surprise! Love the playlist so far. Some really cool funk and vintage rock deep cuts. Much better than the same 12 oldies WROV FM keeps grinding. Well done!

Listening to Coltrane, Spiritual on the radio in Roanoke. Makes me forget that I’m at work, in Roanoke. Great station, diverse and eclectic playlist - station wasn’t playing jazz a minute ago.
