Listener Comments and Reviews

I came across 89.1 one afternoon in Aug. 2011 riding home from the mtns. I was totally unaware it existed and found that many of my friends knew nothing about it either. (They do now!) This station has blessed me so much! The apologetics, the great history lessons from David Barton, and the information on issues we need to be aware of before this upcoming election have been invaluable to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hello, We enjoy your station so very much. My husband was listening the other day and told me that you had a comment about the Workers Comp system the fraud involved. I am currently receiving benefits from a fall on my job that has pretty much left me disabled. I told him that that much money wasn't from workers, that had to be inside or doctors over billing. I investigated a little bit and in Texas, sure enough, a doctor has been charged for fraudulent billing. One worker received benefits of a little over a thousand dollars for having another job. He got 2 years differed ajudication. The dr is going to jail. When it becomes millions and above, it definitely is not the injured workers. I know this because of what I have been through just to get medical treatment and I have broken bones. The system is broken in Texas and I am currently working to see about getting changes made. I just thought it interesting. Our country needs prayer. The systems are all broken.

About a week ago WRYN on the internet became noisy, as if I had a bad speaker. At the same time I found that I could not receive 89.1 fm on the radio anymore. It appears many of us consider this a loss and would like to know when the problems will be corrected.
By: Art Patton on October 28, 2013

Jim Stanly told me they were having problems with this station interfering with another one and it was down for repairs but should be back up and running in a few days.

I was listening to your station on Thursday night at about 8:00 pm. I heard a poem read by the speaker concerning being fearfully and wonderfully made. How could I get a copy of this? I have 5 grandchildren and would love to give them copies of this. It touched my heart because it was so beautifully written. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So glad I accidently came across your station. I love the Bryan Fischer program. Thank God that I have been brought back to my Christian roots and my love for God and Jesus.
By: Karen Blevins on April 14, 2016

Why don't we ask to boycott the Charlotte observer or any other co. For that matter. We are sick of this being shoved down our necks. This lbgt thing is a created distraction to a much larger issue which is the first steps to one world government. My belief is there are two obstacles to one world government. The US and Is real. The printing of money is a known prerequisite to financial ruin. Thank you. MG

I just want to say how very much i appreciate AR Radio It is the only station I listen to anymore. i appreciate the candor and opinions of the knowledgable speakers. They make it clear for someone like me, who has never really understood politics very much, to understand what is really going on in our government and world. I have also been impressed and encouraged to stand up more for the beliefs and rights we have as United State citizens. Thanks again for the wonderful work you are doing. May God continue to bless this ministry. Sincerely, Kathy H., Conover, NC

I too have trouble picking up your station. I pick up a lot of static. But today, Oct. 24, 2017 I couldn't pick it up at all. I listen to this station exclusively and would love to know what happened to it. I miss it! Or what do I need to do to be able to listen to it again. Please help!
By: Jean Sigmon on October 24, 2017

I live around exit 94 off I-40 and try listen to your station exclusively. the reception is very sporadic as I drive around the area regularly. I get a lot of static, periodic crossing with a PBS station which airs filth. Other stations which overcome 89.1 is a hispanic station. What will it take to get better reception? I try to get church members to tune in but they have problems picking up your station. cordially, Richard Conway

Hello, I am a Hiring Manager with Club Demonstration Services (CDS) assigned to the new Costco warehouse in Mooresville, NC that will open near the end of June. CDS performs all the in-house product demonstrations for all Costco stores throughout the USA. We will hire up to 80 part-time associates to conduct product demonstrations daily inside the new Costco site in Mooresville. Hourly pay rates start at $12.65 with potential for future growth and incentives. Next week, we will hold a Job Fair to interview and hire residents to fill these jobs. We seek energetic, outgoing, social and assertive individuals to join our team. The Job Fair will be at: Hilton Garden Inn Statesville 1017 Gateway Crossing Drive Statesville, NC 28677 I-77, Exit 49B June 10th through June 14th – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily We are contacting a variety of local public service organizations to spread the word on our job fair via social media and/or public bulletin boards to make residents aware of our hiring event. I thought I would send you an inquiry to see if there is a Public Notice facility or electronic bulletin board at your station which could help us offer employment to area residents. Any exposure that you are willing to offer for our event would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, TEAM CDS

Greetings: I live in northwest Alexander County. There is a loud hum on my radio when I tune in 89.1 and I cannot understand what is being said. Today is the second day, and it has been this way all day long. I am a faithful listener and I am very disappointed that I cannot hear your broadcast. I pray you will be able to correct this problem soon. Thank you so much. Love your broadcast.
By: ROLAND St Clair on June 2, 2020

Same as person above, it sounds like a 60Hz hum on the carrier hear it in L&R channel. The hum is almost as loud as the talking. I can't remember exactly when but it seemed like this same occurrence happened last year for several days. There was no number that I could find for a local person to make this report to.I really enjoy listening to this station especially on my way to work in the morning. Thank you, David
