RECIPIENT STORY; NAVY VETERAN VALERIE, INDIANAPOLIS IN. How would a vehicle change the Recipient's life? Why does the Recipient need a vehicle? A vehicle would allow me to no longer inconvenience my friends who have allowed me to drive their cars to, physical therapy, and to and from my daughters school, because bus service is not offered at her school. I need a vehicle to be able to get myself to and from VAMC appointments, physical therapy at the YMCA to help maintain my mobility and total health, to get my 10 yr old daughter to and from school everyday, to be able to get to and from church, and to have access to get to my daughters school should an emergency arise with her, because she has epilepsy and has complex partial seizures. Also, I've been known to run and pick up other kids who may need a ride somewhere to ensure their safety. I have been without a vehicle for some time now and its hard to work without transportation. Cars 4 Heroes has been featured on CBS Nightly News, NBC Nightly News, History Channel, ESPN, BYU tv , Tru TV, and many more across the nation
