just stumbled on this station by mistake. Don't normally listen to radio, but am making a point of listening to this in car and at home. Can you give me more information about the station. It has warmed my soul tremendously. Love the soothing old gospel hymns. Don't hear them enough anymore! Tina

Gold Star Mom Suicide Awareness Walk-A-Thon and Art Auction Michelle Dale’s son, Dale Kridlo, died on the battlefield with honor. It does not make his death any easier on his family. Michelle has rallied as President of Gold Star Moms of Indian River County and is serving her community, determined to prevent another mother from suffering the loss of her child. Twenty-two veterans commit suicide each day. President, Michelle Dale, and the other Gold Star Mom’s of Indian River County have made it their mission to increase awareness and raise monies to provide veterans with mental health services, service dogs, and financial support for Next Generation Veterans. One veteran’s suicide is too many for Gold Star Moms, just as one more mom losing their child is unacceptable. You can help them with their mission. On November 16, 2019 from 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Walking Tree Brewery there will be a walk-a-thon and a patriotic art auction. The walk-a-thon is 2.2 kilometers representing the 22 veteran suicides per day. Further, Gold Star Moms, a 501(c)3, is accepting corporate sponsorship from $500-$2000. Depending on the amount a corporation donates the donor’s name will be placed on a t-shirt or banner. Let Indian River County show their support for veterans by sponsoring this event and joining the Gold Star Moms to bring awareness about veterans’ suicides. Whether you simply wish to make a tax-deductible corporate donation, purchase patriotic art, or just participate in the walk-a-thon to show your support, everything you do will help bring awareness to this national crisis to begin to provide the best mental health care to transition to civilian life. Every veteran deserves to live a long happy productive life. You can make the difference so please join us at the Gold Star Mom’s Suicide Awareness Walk-A-Thon.
