Listener Comments and Reviews
Dear Program Manager
Could we schedule an on-air interview to publicize the “Walk the Line” event set for May 12th?
Last year more than 100 people from Northwest Indiana walked from Griffith to Hammond along a pipeline that runs beneath backyards and playgrounds.
This year we’re walking from Purdue Northwest to Tod Park in East Chicago, where at 11:30, we’ll serve everyone a delicious meal with entertainment, and at 12:30, we’ll open a full semi-truckload of bottled water to be distributed to the residents of the nearby Calumet neighborhood.
We’d like to think we’re making a difference here; raising awareness and helping our neighbors. We’d like to invite the public to walk with us. We’d also like to urge interested parties to help us pay for the water.
If you can give one of our principle members ten minutes to tell your listeners about the details, we’d be very grateful.
Please let me know if we can talk about scheduling an interview. I’ll follow up with a phone call in a couple of days.
