Listener Comments and Reviews

Enjoy listening to the station with, Beck, Limbaugh and Hannity. Joe Gomez, a does a great job reporting the news but someone needs to help Joe with the correct pronunciation of our cities & towns. For example, Reading is pronounced "Redding", Leominster is pronounced "Lemmonster". I am guessing there have been other mispronunciations as well. Please, give Joe a break and help him. Thanks

I agree Larry. The say you "can't take your eyes off of a train wreck". Well, the same is true for a Joe Gomez news report. It's like the auditory version a train wreck. Only this time you can't take your ears off of it. Today he was talking about the a candidate running for Mayor and he pronounced it "May- Or". Joe: it's pronounced "MARE" in this town. When it comes to Massachusetts cities and towns it's a laugh riot. "Leo-Minster", Not to mention "Billerica"... or as Joe says "Bill Air Ree-kah". Also his news seems very stale. It seems like he does one report and then runs it for 2-3 days at a time.I'm sureit's because he's short handed there. JOE: if you need help I'll be happy to get together with you and show you the finer points of pronouncing our local cities and towns. I mean it. I would be glad to help. I am MA born and bred. Bill from Qwin-Zee.
