We had a last minute call yesterday afternoon asking us if we would like to host McCray Dove and The Dove Brothers THIS SUNDAY EVENING!! Trying to contact as many stations, etc. as possible to announce this concert!! If you could announce this on WEMM it would be awesome!! THE DOVE BROTHERS will be in concert (last minute) THIS SUNDAY evening ~ September 7th at Sharon Baptist Church in Ironton, OH!! The concert will begin at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:00pm. NO charge for this concert, but a love offering will be taken!! Please SPREAD THE WORD and share this post...it's sure to be an amazing concert!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! Lucasville Mission Church annual Vacation Bible School begins June 13th, 2016, noon to 3 Pm daily Monday June 13th through Friday June 17th. Includes free trip to the Creation Museum Saturday June 18, for those who attend the VBS. Come Learn about Jesus and his Love for all the world. Bible class each day, songs, games, snacks, lots of fun. Parents and guardians encouraged to attend with their children; At least one parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years on the trip to the Creation Museum; The Mission will provide gas for trip to the Creation Museum for those parents willing to drive their own families and friends. The Mission will also provide admission to Museum and free pizza for all on the way home Saturday evening. The Lucasville Mission was formerly located on Maplewood street in Lucasville from 1959 thru 2006; In 2007 the Mission moved to 718 Mt Etna Road, Piketon, Ohio 45661 where it is still located. Hello I was listening to your radio station early this morning and I heard a song about God still working on somebody I this the song was called FINISH. International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held on 31st of August each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose. International Overdose Awareness Day spreads the message that overdose death is preventable. Thousands of people die each year from drug overdose. They come from all walks of life. Do you recognize the signs and symptoms of overdose? What is the impact of drug use and overdose on family, friends and those experiencing it? Please support this event by purchasing your commemorative International Overdose Awareness Day admission sticker/ ticket for only $5.00 and join us on Monday August 31st for the 1st annual Overdose Awareness Day Procession. All vehicles will commence at Scioto County Fairgrounds, 1193 Fairground Road Lucasville, Ohio.( @ South Parking Lot) at 3:30PM. The procession is scheduled to leave at 4:00PM and will travel Southbound on State Route 23, proceed through downtown Portsmouth, Oh and return to Scioto County Fairgrounds.
