Love your music, how do you do it commercial free? I am 53, live in Silver Lakes. I was listening to "Stardust 910 AM" before but no more. Thank you for your station.
By: Greg on June 4, 2011

Heard Bobby Sherman's "Julie, Julie" for the third time in a week....after not hearing it much since 1970. Love it as much as back then. (For every little girl named Julie who has been in the Helendale School District since 1980, and has had me burst out that song......I said you'd hear it on the radio some day. Hope it makes you think of me.) Thanks for your great station. allyn

By: Chrissi Turner on January 21, 2012

i luv this format. i've heard more elvis now than when he was alive. great oldies & older country...and yes some gospel ( my all time favorite gospel singer is elvis) imagine that .omg!!! the joke lady is my favorite regular on the show.the show has sponsers from smoke shops to margarita bars .pastor love /dj love doesn't PREACH to ya but rather for ya.he has a way to remain human about his listeners. he doesn't have to find us...but rather we seek him & his music. anyone who has listen to kqte for any length of time knows we are going to get a couple of prayers each day...it's just enough to keep guys like me in line...just might be hope for me yet. i tell my friends world wide about this station...it means that much to me ...thx chuck so very much for this music...rick.

I love 1450am even though I can only get it in my car morning and early afternoon. The last few days you have played "I Surrender All" and I would like to know who the singer is? Can I purchase a CD from you with this song, or can you suggest how to get this version. It is the voice of an older man, being played 4/16 and 4/17/13. I'd be grateful for the info. Thanks
By: Glenda McMullen on April 19, 2013

PLEASE get rid of good old Stevearino and his childish commericals and lead ins. I'm 60 NOT 6. Quit listning to the last radio station he was on becaus of the same old foemat. Then there is MONICA ????? dump the recording ater EVERY song.. PLEASE !!!!!! Regards, M. Richards
By: M. Richards on June 29, 2013

if you took the word SITUATION away from stevearino there would be a lot of radio silence...and those dumb voices he uses for commercials & promos for himself is the reason I quit listening to him from his last 2 radio station jobs.wish the station had a stronger signal so I could listen to it at work.also, for the last week I can't get kqte.com to work, I miss it.
By: rick on July 1, 2013

amp?? sorry
By: rick on July 1, 2013

the gal that does a lot of the commercials on kqte would be a great dj.one of the commercials she does is for a hardware story, where she says HARRY HAS IT...I like her voice.sorry stevearino, you're not a good fit for this venue.
By: rick on July 4, 2013

I live in Lancaster, PA and listen on-line every weekend. You play a lot of the music that I don't hear on local radio, so I look forward to tuning in to your station on weekends. Thanks for the great music!
By: Sherie on July 7, 2013

now we have JR THE HITMAN on Friday 4 to 6 pm...do not drive while listening...he will put you asleep...
By: rick on August 4, 2013

if steve wants to work 6 to 10...no problem, I think 6 pm to 10 pm is a good slot for him.i think it would be great if pastor love could hire Vicki heppi from CURVES.she has a tremendous radio voice, would luv her on kqte from 6 am to 10 am.then the next 4 hours could be pastor love & his daughter Jamie.or, at least 2 hours of each one if their schedule allowed.then 2pm to 6 pm have the commercial gal from harry has it.thennnnnnnnnnn steve.

By: Joe on March 29, 2014

I missed Jr the hitman today. He's a fun way to end the week, very upbeat and funny. I hope your ok. Radio owner you should make him your morning DJ. That would be a great way to start the day off. I agree with Joe, hitman needs more hours. Does he look as good as he sounds?
By: Julie on April 4, 2014

Great station. Stevarino Morning Wake Show is fun! Listened to Steve on Kix 106, 910 & 103.1. Great to hear him again! Keep up the underwear dance. Great idea to get us up & moving. Thanks for the great times!
By: Cindy on April 13, 2014

I really loved what Jr the hitman did today. An alter call. It's nice to know that normal people can be Christians. Like Jr said after Jesus were still going to sin and have a life. That's me. I agree with many on here it would be nice to have more of Jr the hitman. I feel so good after his show. God bless and keep up the good work.
By: Diana on April 18, 2014

By: BJ Waldron on April 23, 2014

You already have the number one DJ in the high desert in JR the hitman. If you want to be the number one radio station in the high desert you should use the number one disc jockey that you have. Steve you're good you're just not a morning jock. More like 10 to 2. I love this station you just have to morning it up a little more. And Jr the hitman is your guy.

Thank you hitman for making my bad day a good day. You took my mind off of my troubles and gave me a new perspective. I read in the shopper that you may be expanding your show is it true? I hope so. Thanks
By: Kyle G. on June 20, 2014

Hey hitman I want to thank you for my girlfriend. I used one of your pick up lines at karaoke at Silverlakes a couple of weeks ago and it's been going great ever since then. I'm not so sure how good the pick up line was but the lady I used it on said you got that from JR the hitman didn't you. We talked about how funny your show was, it was a real icebreaker thanks JR.
By: Archie on July 4, 2014

By: Chrissi on July 14, 2014

Great show Friday hitman I love the to fat polka, my wife doesn't like it but she's was laughing during the whole song. Maybe the fuzzies being left behind was TMi. Or maybe not that was too funny and true. Love your show. Maybe next time I win the gift certificate.
By: Jimmy C. And wife on August 2, 2014

my wife and I are faithful lovers of your station format. we are senior citizens and love your oldies we also love monica and would love to/ hear and see more of her.
By: bernie coulombe on August 20, 2014

I love your station. I'm a faithful listener. I especially love to hear the hitman on Fridays. His show is pretty funny I like his jokes. and other commentaries that he does. And I agree with the other listeners on this site. It would be nice to have more of the hitman. Time just flies when I listen to him. Is Chuck love ever going to be on the air again? I like his show to. The music is good but good personalities are better. A lot of people I talk to think you need a more lively personality for the morning show. Maybe switch to Chuck love or the hitman. Just my opinion you can do what you want with it.
By: Patrick on August 24, 2014

Like your station - would like if the DJ could tell who the artists singing are. I am ok with pop oldies - but just getting into old country music and do not know the artists. Then I could look for some of their music on vinyl or CD. Thanks for your time -- paul
By: paul on September 16, 2014

What happened to JR the hitman. He wasn't here last Friday and he is not here this Friday. Does anybody know if he's okay? Did he move to a different time spot that I don't know about Did he quit or did he get fired I need to know what happened. Is he at another radio station? I love his show and Hope he is still around.
By: James on September 19, 2014

Yeah what happened to the hitman? We want the hitman, we want the Hitman, we want the hitman. His show is hilarious. If he's gone I'm gone, I won't listen anymore. I hope this helps Hitman

Good to have you back Hitman.
By: James on September 27, 2014

Who picked your music. Whoever did that is a genius. Love the station
By: Milly on September 27, 2014

Great show today hitman very fun and funny. Usually I listen to 100.7 in the afternoon. But Friday's you're the one I'm going to listen to. Too bad you're not on every afternoon. Crazy show I love it.
By: Brian on October 24, 2014

the hitmans show is not kid friendly and personally, not pleasant for adults either. the sick innuendos and the potty mouth like that of 12 year old boys talking on the playground are quite disgusting. frankly my husband and i are shocked by this
