Listener Comments and Reviews

This station, ( WGIB 91.9 ) sucks, it's the worst old school backwards radio that makes Christians cringe!! The programs are boring and the music is dead, lame, non existent . All around a lousy excuse for a Christian radio station. I just hope less and less people find it for fear that it will scare away those who are seeking good christian music!

I can't begin to express what a blessing WGIB has been in my life. Through the wonderful messages of several ministers on WGIB, I rededicated my life to God and now have a close, personal relationship with Him. Blessed be the name of His Son, our Savior and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though I live in Georgia, I listen to WGIB using the internet via my smartphone and computer. This wonderful station feeds my soul on a daily basis. I will be forever grateful for this wonderful station.

I was a faithful listener and looked for looked especially forward to listening to the noon program. It is various old christian music. Recently however the DJ plays 75% of his own recordings that he has sings. It has ruined the program. It is sad that I have to stop listening to this.

Tom tom, Sorry to read your remarks. If you do not understand what you hear you may not be a Christian. If you do not have a personal relationship with the Lord &/or do not read the Bible with understanding what you read/hear-it's time to make sure you are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord & Savior. God wants a personal relationship with you on a daily-continuous basis. Look not at the things of this world, but the things that be of God. I pray that God will save your soul & give you a new heart with understanding & a passion to know Him personally. Listen to your music-yes-but first & foremost listen to the voice of the Lord through reading the Bible, going to Church & listening to good Biblical teaching & preaching. If you are a Christian you need to hear & believe what WGIB offers in the preaching/teaching. You need a new heart that only God can give you through Jesus Christ. I will be praying for you daily that the darkness of the world would be driven from you and God will shine His marvelous light into your heart. God only can give you new desires & habits that will have eternal blessing.

I heard the very end of a radio program late this afternoon on WGIB, and was disturbed by the comments that the announcer made. He was talking about coronavirus testing, and he stated that that it’s only politicians that are driving the need for testing, and that it’s no “silver bullet” because someone may be tested at one point and contract the virus later. Coronavirus testing is not politically driven, but physician-driven in order to save lives. The reason testing is imperative is it will identify persons who are positive to have the virus, and they will be instructed to quarantine. So the purpose is to remove them from other people so that they cannot spread this virus. I know this seems like an obvious point, but it is extremely important, and I felt like it should be said. Thank you.

Love me some Johnny Brock. His music is awesome indeed. Have many of his CD's now and love them all. Matter of fact, playing his most recent release, on Southern Praise here in Selma Alabama. The program itself will be turning five years old, starting in August. When visiting Selma, check out the program, every night from 6 P.M. till 9 P.M. and Sunday mornings from 6 A.M. till Noon, on WPJB-LP, 93.3 FM, Jesus Radio. Future plans call for me to add even more of his music, to this long running daily SG radio program. Glad I can call him a friend. Listen to his program, when I'm visiting that area and even make song requests. His presentation of Gospel music is beautiful and I can't get enough of it.

Thank you for this radio station. I have listened for many years and is where I first heard Grace To You, the ministry of John MacArthur. I listen every weekday to him and while in my car I listen to any thing that is airing. I especially enjoy the uplifting music compared to other music that is being offered elsewhere. I support your station through giving to Grace To You.
