KBUX is a station that whenever I am driving on highway 10 between California and Phoenix I try and tune it in. The station is located in Quartzsite, AZ about 10 miles from the California border. The station plays a mix of oldies from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. The station doesn't just play the typical oldies you here everywhere else but has a deeper mix that no other station plays. The signal with its 200 watts isn't very strong and only goes out a few miles from Quartzite in either direction. Recently the station was sold but the music seems to have remained the same with the new owner.

You have one of the best radio stations we have ever listened to. So much nice variety. Especially the 50's and 60's era. I could listen to your radio station forever and a day longer. Thanks for making our stay in Quartzsite wonderful. Michael & Emmy from Alaska.
