The first meeting of the Missoula Film Association will be a free Meet ‘n Greet for all Filmmakers and persons interested in the Media Arts. The networking event will be Saturday, August 10 from 10a-12p at the Missoula Public Library Community Room. The purpose of Missoula Film Association is to help bring more high-budget film production projects to the county while at the same time, guiding the Film Production Companies to keep problematic issues to the minimum.
There will be sign-up sheets for those who would like to volunteer to be on a committee such as Association Leadership, Promotion and Marketing, Youth and Child Safety and other important topics that will be necessary to handle as film business productions come to the region. We hope all area Filmmakers, Theater participants, Cast and Crew and interested lovers of Media Arts can come to this first networking event for Missoula Film Association and encourage all Film Business professionals to bring cards, flyers, portfolios and headshots.
