Radio Announcement: Fred Yiran African Arts Day June 25th 2017 noon to 4 pm Lake George Municipal Complex There will be activities for children, performances, and workshops. Beadmaking, children’s art contest, African dancing, drumming, storytelling, and a lecture on African Arts. Our guest artists are performing, then offering a workshop. Teachers will receive clock hours towards their continuing education units: Guest Artist: Jan-Lodewijk Grootaears, African Arts at Minneapolis Institute of Art – Connecting with People and Objects Debra Leigh, African Dance Danielle Daniel, African Storytelling Bui Cameroon Dancers Buddy King, African Drumming We hope this will become an annual celebration of Saint Cloud and her African residents.
