Good morning, my name is Donna J. Hernandez; I am the founder of Five Jewels Ministries. My hope is that you will take the time to read my story. The idea for Five Jewels Ministries was given by the inspiration of the Lord Jesus Christ. My daughter Candice Jewel was found unresponsive on her front porch on October 23, 2012. A year before Candice’s unexpected tragic death she was involved in a lawsuit with Child Protective Services. She was in the midst of trying to regain possession of her four children when she died. I watched Candice grieve over the loss of her children. I also watched my grandchildren grieve the loss of their mom and with each foster home came with it more pain, confusion and fear. My passion is ministering to the grieving a parent who has out lived a child or a child that’s parent has died. I have to believe this is the most painful experience of a life time. The death of my Candice Jewel has changed my life and I will never be the same again. Despite the tragedy, God still loves them and it is okay to be sad, mad, numb, bitter or resentful. God is a big God, and he can take on their pain. Five Jewels Ministries was his answer to my “what do you want from me now” prayer. We want to work with families that are struggling, families who are involved with C.P.S., parent who have had their children taken and those on the verge of having their children taken. We want to help all types of struggling families, not just those involved with C.P.S. We want to help families who just want to be better parents. We want to do this by walking beside them on their journey of pain, sadness and through God’s healing and restoration. Ministries, as you know, take money and sometimes lots of money to operate. We are a new ministry and we need to raise money. We are in the process of planning a talent show. What would it cost to advertise our talent show on your radio station and how would I go about doing it? Is there a way that I could come and tell my story on your station? As tragic as my story is, it is filled with the Lord’s love, grace, patience, and redemption. As the song says “you are more than your past mistakes, you are more than the choices that you make”. People need to know that God is forgiving and they are loved. Thank you for your time. Donna J. Hernandez Five Jewels Ministries 214-607-7382

Recently, I have not been able to pick up KTXG in the afternoons. I leave work at 4:00 pm and listen to Washington Watch and Nothing but Truth during my drive home. It seems that the signal for NPR is overshadowing the AFR signal. I find this most disappointing, as I love Washington Watch and Nothing But Truth. Have there been problems with broadcast strength? This has started only recently and I hope it is soon fixed. Thank you.

I am the owner of TheGreenHomeMakeover.com and I do all types of residential and commercial energy efficiency work including installation of windows, solar screens, attic insulation, wall insulation, attic ventilation and duct sealing. We install all types of fire stop products for ducts, piping and penetrations. We also perform energy audits to let people know what they need to do to cut down on their Energy usage to save money on their utility bills. My name was mentioned by a man on 90.5 KTXG in Dallas at approximately 9:45 AM today February 17, 2015 in reference to installing solar screens for all of his annuity customers. I would like to know how to contact the gentleman who mentioned me and my company to thank him for the reference. My phone number is 214-886-3154 and my email address is JimothyWhisnant@yahoo.com.

I always listen to AFR on my way to work each morning and then again on my way home in the afternoon. Lately, I cannot get it to come in. I am just hearing a lot of static. I really love this station and hope the problem will be easy and quick to fix.

I am not able to get a signal for 90.5 in the Dallas area anymore. Has the station been affected by the tornados or is it off the air in Dallas now. Really missing Sandy Rios on my morning commute!

I am no longer able to hear your station in Clarksville in northeast Texas. I could hear it up to recently. Are you planning any power upgrades, etc.? I really miss hearing it since I get up at 4:30 in the morning for work. I feel like I have lost a best friend!

Your station is a giant charade. I cannot believe you seriously aired the "family values" dinner or conference or something where they trumpeted all the "wonderful " Trump accomplishments while ignoring all of his very "unchristian" behavior and activities and results. You are losing your moral high ground. No more haloes for you or your supporters!

Black Lives Matter is an international activist movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people. FYI It is not marxist like I heard on your station. I enjoy your religious music and programming, but not your politics which is biases . Keep this in mind, not all listeners ignorant to politics.

Since this past Friday your programs on 90.5 FM from Greenville has been all static. It is the same on all my radios and cars. Did you move your station number? My husband and I love listening to your programs and miss it!

I have been unable to get AFR at 90.5 on my radio since yesterday. As a matter of fact I could barely hear a discussion on the air at 90.5 and it was not AFR and they announced a different station and said it was 90.5. Have you moved the station? I am fortunate to have an excellent radio and I have had your station just go off the air in the middle of a program before but never two solid days. I hope I can find you if you moved.

Ive come to the conclusion that most Christians are simply just Republicans and the Christianity portion is an afterthought.
