Listener Comments and Reviews

Have you thought of providing a program about regional history, culture, and human interest interviews? I am a local historian, a commissioner for the Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission in Frankfort and creator / coordinator for the Native American Heritage Event in Stanford. I have been a guest on radio and TV programs on several occasions as a part of my aforementioned duties. A program which discussed the local and regional history, and some historically related, moving human interest stories would be interesting and fascinating to local listeners.

I am a former Elvis Impersonator and am recording my audio-book entitled BEING ELVIS: A MEMOIR. I have recorded 75% of the book (29 chapters) and will be finished by the fall. I actually performed in Somerset, Kentucky for a large gathering of people (private party) back in 1998. There were close to 1,000 in attendance that evening. I returned to Kentucky in the early part of 1999, and made a brief TV appearance in Rupp Arena (WLEX). I recorded a song about the Kentucky Wildcats, and several radio stations played the song (WVLK for one). Anyway, I am retired military and am a Disabled American Veteran. I would like to give all of the money (downloads) from my audio-book to a fund and help a number of folks who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19. Could I possibly be interviewed by your station sometimes near the end of the year or early January 2021 to "get the word out?" I'm thinking that the download would be $5.
