Peaches in the Pines
June 20, 2015, the Peaches in the Pines festival will make its’ debut at beautiful, Lake Meriwether near Woodbury, GA. The festival will promote Meriwether’s two predominant agricultural products, peaches and timber.
The festival which runs from 9AM-4PM, will showcase arts and crafts, fun and games, delicious foods and splendid entertainment, an amateur BBQ competition and peach pie and peach preserves contests, as well as an exhibition of the newly installed disc golf course. Breathtaking Lake Meriwether is the perfect spot for an old fashioned country fair!
Admission is $2 per person; children 5 and under are FREE!

The LaGrange Toastmasters Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 12:30 – 1:30p.m. at the LaGrange campus of West Georgia Technical College in the Troup Room. It is an opportunity for members to develop public speaking and leadership skills in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Visitors are welcome!
