Listener Comments and Reviews

What happened to Glenn Beck's radio show? I am very disappointed that it is no longer broadcast.
By: Sheryl on January 31, 2012

I certainly hope you stick with Rush Limbaugh. Ths controversy is manufactured to cover up the real issue- people demanding government interference in private business activities.

Please add to you upcoming events announcements: For the 14th year now we, at Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 54 Main St. Dresden, NY, are using each Sunday of October to thoroughly review the prophecies that our Christ has given us concerning the closing events of these last days. He will soon return as King of kings to terminate this world's rebellion in a great destruction called 'The Battle of Armageddon.' In this key US election year, wherein Israel, God's chosen nation, is being scoffed and pushed aside for an Arab-Spring ushering in a United System of Arab nations, this October may avail the last examination of this topic. The Lord Jesus Christ will return as He said. Are you ready for His return? Please attend our Prophecy Conference this year, Sundays, Oct 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 11 AM and 6 PM, with a Question/Answer period in our Wednesday Bible Study at 7 PM. Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur usher in this annual conference each year. Don't miss out on the last one. “The Great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.” Learn what the Day of the LORD is all about, at Good Samaritan Baptist Church this month. Is there something wrong with your signal or is every radio I own broken? Trying to listen in the city limits of Corning...
By: Sally Ketchum on September 16, 2014

I am wondering if your programming will be including announcements and also news coverage after the fact, of the 26th of June Primary election for Democratic candidates for the US Congress. There are five candidates and there has to be news in their competition. I would like to hear promotions to get out the vote as part of your station’s support for the election process. It would also be great to hear the candidates or at least commentary by your reporters. Sincerely, Kris Merschrod

Did you change programming or are my radios broken?
By: Roy on January 15, 2020

What 's going on ? No Rush?
By: MIKE on January 16, 2020

really, the only good talk station in the area and you just disappear. Could have at least gave us a heads up.
By: Ed on January 17, 2020

Guess it is WENY now, too bad :-(
By: John on January 17, 2020

Disappointed that talk radio has been replaced with "music." No longer tuning to AM 820.
By: Dale Potter on January 17, 2020

what is going on? When I tune to 820 I get another station. Have you gone off the air?
By: Marion F Webster on January 17, 2020

I was guessing you are working on something miss my Coast to coast..How am i going to stay up at night?
By: Sam on January 18, 2020

What is going on with 820am? No Rush Limbaugh, no Kim Kommando, no Glenn Beck? Just old hippy music from 60s, 70s? Something seems to be afoot with all the government interference lately with free speech lately. All the frequenceies being throttled by the ruing class to grab more power from the common people.
By: Bud on January 18, 2020

Where are Rush and Hannity??????????
By: Sheryl Deibler on January 20, 2020

how do like censorship?why would anyone listen to silly music? rush is on internet radio EVERYWHERE!,
By: Anonymous on January 22, 2020

What? Did George Soros buy out this radio station. too? I am joining the others and will listen to WENY. Your loss, their gain. I also understand now why you won't answer the phone.

Goodbye WWLZ, I came here for conservative talk radio. I can listen to music all day on FM
By: Anonymous on January 23, 2020

Even Ithaca NY has Rush! The local news in Elmira hates Trump to.
By: Anonymous on January 23, 2020

Came home from vacation to find my station missing. Miss my conservative info. Will have to go to the Internet now. I will return when talk returnse.
By: Genio on January 23, 2020

So sad! I was a long time am 820 listener and fan. Love my daily 6 hr dose . Now It seems that even WWLZ has joined the left. No more Rush. No more Glen Beck.. Guess what? No more Mike fr Corning.
By: MIKE fr Corning on January 24, 2020

Hey Rush and Glenn fans! If you have an iPhone you can download a free streaming radio app called Claro musica. You can stream FOR FREE any radio program you want. If you search for Glen or Rush, you can select from hundreds of programs across the country. I started several months ago. We no longer have to listen to our local stations that play crap music and have shut down their excellent talk show programs. I'm very disappointed in WHLZ as a listener for 20 years, but I won't ever have to listen to them (or their local advertisers - are you listening, advertisers?) again.
By: Tina on January 27, 2020

On the internet, this is just one of many stations you can listen to Glenn and Rush on https://www.iheart.com/live/wjet-am-1400-8290/?autoplay=true&pname=15400&campid=header&cid=index.html. We no longer need to depend on radio waves!
By: Tina on January 27, 2020

Shorter link to the Erie station that plays Rush and Glenn: https://www.iheart.com/live/wjet-am-1400-8290/
By: Tina on January 27, 2020

Very disappointed that there is no Hannity or Rush. Did the governor finally realize that there are conservatives in New York and have your station shut them off? This is truly the problem with liberal media, its their way or no way at all. I also am done with your station and will no longer support business that advertises on it either. Sad day for local radio
By: don on January 28, 2020

My wife and I listened to the talk radio every day that you used to broadcast. How much longer do we have to listen to the noise from 95 The Met before we gat the talk radio back?
By: Paul Rose on January 30, 2020

Just wondering why 95 the met. is playing on 820am, very dissappointed, hopefully you are not trying to be politically correct ,no more talk radio?,let me guess,20 people complained, so thousands of other people have to bend to the will of those 20? I'm sure it will not matter to you, but I will not be listening to your crap station any more!
By: George Heskell on February 3, 2020

Apparently WWLZ was bought out by a left wing organization. Must be part of the plan to get rid of Conservative talk shows. I too will NEVER listen to 820 AM or the "sister" stations. Really ticks me off.
By: Pete on February 4, 2020

I travel throughout Binghamton to Hornell corridor every day, Very much miss Glenn Beck, can hear moldy oldies anywhere. For now AM 820 off my presets. Let me know if you go back to talk format.
By: Ed on February 5, 2020

So disappointed you dropped talk radio... especially Rush! II guess 870 out of Ithaca works for me as well. What a shame.
By: Maggie Fitz on February 5, 2020

Bad idea....music I will never listen to on AM radio ( that's what FM is for). Are you moving talk to another station, or is this liberal diversity at work by passive censorship?
By: Timothy Foote on February 7, 2020

I used to listen in mornings and evenings in my car, but now that the station is music no more. I miss my talk hosts. Music can be picked up anywhere. Bye unless the station changes back or it is on a sister station - I have taken 820 off my car radio.
By: Danny Eastman on February 23, 2020

Destiny thing you ever did. Now we all must listen to iHeartRadio instead of 820 am. I feel sorry for all the local business people. Now I listen to all the talk on WFLA in Tampa. I have many choices. Still listen to all Rush, Hannity, Beck, and Levin. I highly recommend this to all local people. You don’t have to listen to this terrible station. You can get iHeartRadio radio on your smart tv or smart phone or your computer. You can get it at home or in your car. Absolutely free. I highly recommend it. I just feel bad for local business.
