The Annual Harlem Magic Masters Celebrity Basketball Classic- one of the late winter highlights in Lancaster -is coming on Friday, March 1 at 6:00pm at the Lancaster High School, 325 Woodland Drive. This event brings together families who want to enjoy an entertaining game, and the amazing skills of members of the travelling Harlem Magic Masters to be pitted with local community leaders and sponsors. “Last year we sold about 900 tickets to this event. It provides an affordable and fun family experience, as well as raises funds for the Lancaster Fatherhood Project”, says, Tyrom Faulker, Lancaster Fatherhood Project (LFP) Executive Director. LFP has presented this event to the Lancaster community to raise funds for their program that strengthens fathers and families through individual goal setting, group sessions on topics such as parenting skills, healthy relationships, economic stability and men’s health. Fathers who are under or unemployed may attend the Job Readiness Boot Camp and receive employment assistance.
