Hi there, My name is Cameron and I'm a Hartsville SC college student (Coker College), soon to be graduate. My friend and I are going to be launching an Indiegogo campaign about an app I've been working on for 3 years now. My app will put everyone within 10 miles in one social media app. You can follow people outside of your 10 mile radius, but the idea is that everyone in your community will have a place to talk. I want communities to be truly connected, so this app will let everyone post pictures, videos, text statuses and sound files and everyone within 10 miles will be able to interact with whatever is posted. I want to unite people in their cities and allow people to tell their stories to everyone, not just those on their friends list. I decided to do this because of a promise I made to myself when I was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2011. I promised myself that if I survived I would do something to help the world. I’m still here, so I have a promise to keep, and I believe Brite is how I’ll do that. Would it be possible to do a story about what my friend and I are doing? I’ve been through so much and I want to give back to the community that gave so much to me. My website is TheBriteApp.com. Do you think we could do this story? Best, Cameron Flotow

Feature Story: I Would like to spotlight; our Founder/CEO, Ella "Jennie" Skelton-Floyd of Worldwide Widows and Widowers Inc., a non-profit organization that was birthed after the death of her beloved husband Dr. Michael Lee Floyd, Judge Advocate General, Emeritus. She has gracefully embraced the ministry that God has endowed unto her to counsel widows, widowers and Pastor's spouses, during their time of grief. Currently, she is campaigning for the widowed and setting up chapters in 7 states for the widowed, her goal is to set up chapters in the remaining 43 states that will support the widowed in grief counseling, financial assistance, scholarships and housing. You can find out more on our website; worldwidewidowsandwidowersinc.com. I hope and pray that WRJA will invite her to be a guest on the show. The statistical reports that she has shared with us are overwhelming and really needs to be shared with the world. Thanking you in advance for your kind consideration.
