Here is Press release if you would like to make some Public Service Announcements. Thank you Press Release: Dedication of a Memorial to Phoebe Norville Harman - Wednesday, May 20, 4:00-6:00 pm. The dedication, by invitation only, will take place in the Cone Health Cancer Center’s Healing Garden at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Harman was the founder of the Pink Ribbon luncheon and chaired the event until 2013; she passed away in November of 2014. This year the Pink Ribbon Luncheon was held in Phoebe’s honor, and raised a record $58,000 on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The annual luncheon benefits the Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Fund. This fund allows women access to diagnostic procedures they may not otherwise be able to afford. For women with a malignancy, the fund provides for breast cancer therapy essentials and the basic needs of life during their illness. A copper birdfeeder and memorial stone were presented to the Harman family at this year’s Pink Ribbon Luncheon and now reside in the Healing Garden were cancer patients can enjoy it. We would like to invite someone come to cover this event. We are also available any time before the 20th for interviews. Please contact us if you would like an interview, or can send a reporter/photographer the day of the event. Patty Brothers, Pink Ribbon Luncheon Chair for Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation. Phone: 336.214.1252 Email: or you may contact Katie Boon, the Director of the Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation at 336-538-7946 or Thank you.
