I first heard WURI (90.9) playing in a nice antique/gift shop in Manteo, March, 2021. What a pleasant surprise. I was taken by the composer selection and styles of music selection. In all respects, this is 5-star listening from a 5-star broadcaster. WURI is a wonderful change of pace to ‘usual’ radio station of today. I am not a ‘classical nut’ and normally tune to oldies, beach, or classic rock stations; WURI provides a needed break from the song loops played today. Plus, WURI does it in the finest fashion.
