Listener Comments and Reviews

I am trying to find Phil Valentine tonight at 10 pm and I am getting free talk radio trash. I have your station on almost 24 hours a day; where is Phil? I understand what happened to Michael Savage; I hope He will be in the new lineup; however, free talk live needs to go. One hour was too enough. If this station is going to give me 3 hours of trash; then, I will go to talkstream live and pick up my shows. Who decided to change this schedule? Big mistake!!!

ALMOST EVERY YEAR, I have to call or write and REMIND the program manager that COASTTOCOASTAM broadcasts LIVE ON HOLIDAYS. They are LIVE tonight and what are you broadcasting!!! canned christmas music. Does anyone intelligent work at your local station? Yes, I am pissed, and on Christmas, too. Get with it. C2C broadcasts LIVE EVERY HOLIDAY - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day after Christmas, New Years Eve......etc....etc........etc..... I am NOT a happywvgal@frontier.com at 1:23am 12/25/13 Thank God for the internet...... I really don't need your programming at all or your sponsors either..... It is more convenient to listen to the radio in the bedroom, but I'll be listening to the C2C stream this morning in my livingroom. I am just amazed as more and more people are becoming just downright stupid and incompetent. I'd fire you, especially if you have been reminded multiple times. Just being stubborn? An abject apology is the least you owe me. Wait till I start posting the 94.5 FM WVTS is run by idiots!!!

Really? I hope this new thing is not permanent. It is terrible.
By: Dan B on April 7, 2015

Please bring back the talk radio format. There are three other Christian radio stations in the area and now only talk on am 1240 which needs a power increase because it doesn't hardly reach out of Dunbar.
By: Avid talk listener on April 7, 2015

Please bring back the talk radio format! Are you people out of your minds, thinking another Christian radio station will bring more listeners? Get real and get back to talk radio!

The change in programing is VERY disappointing! I listened to this channel for the last few years almost all the time both day and night, now it's ALL gone! Bad decision, you have lost this listener. Problem is all the programing that I like and have gotten used to is either gone or scattered around on weak AM stations. Why are conservative stations being shut down. Who makes these decisions? Please CHANGE back to what many, many people perfer News/Talk!!!!!!!
By: Rick Nowlin on April 9, 2015

Please put Newlife on one of the AM stations, and bring back what you had WVTS 94.5 FM, News and Talk!

Who made decision to take talk radio off. Come on now, conservatives being stifled again. Big mistake. Would at least like to see a response as to why.

I keep two radios dedicated to 94.5 WVTS Dunbar. Since the FCC took over the Internet, and since Easter, all of the Stations I have listened to for years are gone.I like the old time Christian music but I can't stand this new Christian music, with the screaming, repetative phrases, and loud background music. I miss having the news every half hour and the talk shows that are not afraid to tell the truth.

94.5 FM WAS a favorite radio station for both me and my husband. We each had it set on our car radios. The switch forces the audience to tune to 1240 AM, which is not nearly as powerful. We are unable to pick it up unless we are within 15 miles of Charleston. To say we are disappointed in your format change is an understatement! Change it back!

Gee, does the radio conglomerate Bristol Broadcastings really think that adding a warm & fuzzy format like lite Christian music is really going to look good to its advertisers? Certainly isn't looking good for the listeners, but they don't count. If you folks really want to say NO to Bristol for changing 94.5FM from talk to Cont Christian Mx, boycott whatever advertisers they get. Hitting them in the wallet is the only way to get their attention. Remember folks, it's commercial radio. Therefore, you know what the bottom line is? Not your listening satisfaction.

I've been listening to your station for a lot of years, want coast to coast back. I hope you are just broke down and will return to your original programming. You have good reception on FM, easy for me to hear.

There is literally nothing worth listening to on FM radio now in WV with 94.5 switching to music. Good job 9n ruining a good thing.

Please bring back the old format. We need our talk radio stations in WV. I also prefer the traditional Christian music; the contemporary sounds too much like pop music.

love this station!
By: chuck campbell on September 25, 2015

We live on Ky St. In So. Charleston across the river from you. Our TV speakers pick up your station constantly. If you can do something about that, please do. If we need to do something, tell us what is needed or who to call. It is extremely annoying. Thank you. Saw the comments on your station and I too prefer Christian Hymns, not this kind of music.
