Emporia Residents: Please come to the Neighborhood Organization Open House this Saturday! It is from 1-7pm at the PKP room in the Memorial Union at Emporia State University. The event is sponsored by the Social Sciences Department of ESU. JoAnn Bock a Senior at ESU is organizing the event. For more information or to sign up in your neighborhood, contact JoAnn Bock at 620-203-8753 or visit our Facebook page at: Emporia Kansas Neighborhoods There will be a short PowerPoint presentation and an opportunity to sign up in the neighborhoods as I have sketched them out. I will ask for volunteers to set the next meetings up for each neighborhood. The purpose of the Neighborhood Organizations is to facilitate gatherings to deal with problems, help others, invite representatives to talk about issues, and create social events for the neighborhood to become friendly and safe. Thank you for announcing this!
