KMUW 89.1 FM Radio Station Information

KMUW is an FM non-commercial radio station broadcasting at 89.1 MHz. The station is licensed to Wichita, KS and is part of that radio market. The station broadcasts Public Radio programming.

After SEVERAL emails concerning the low number of RSVP's for KU Chancellor Dr. Gray-Little, I have sent the following statement: She, Dr.Gray- Little is an KU educational celebrity...not sports. People value sports over education; which is evident here in Wichita, KS... with EVERYONE. There is a story HERE. 400-600 Wichita residents come out for KU Basketball and Football Coaches for other community events and less than 50 RSVP has come for the CHANCELLOR of the UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS! Why is THAT???? Do PEOPLE not understand without EDUCATION there would be NO SPORTS??? Or, is there an underlying "REASON" why "Wichita is not supporting KU Chancellors visit to Wichita, KS...knowing she is retiring and the GREAT WORK she did for the State of Kansas."
