I live in Conroe Texas and I want to recognize the Llano County Sheriff's Dept. I have been searching for my exhusband for a long time. Our only child is a type 1 diabetic and in ICU. I wanted to ler her dad know. I finally called to enlist the help of the sheriff's dept. I talked to T7, they cannot give out their names so this is all I know. This young lady and some officers went above and beyond to help me and they did.. She found him and I'm happy to report I have spoken with him and a reunion is scheduled soon. I praise God for connecting me with her. I'm a huge supporter of all law enforcement but this was way beyond their call of duty. This was personal. I will forever be grateful and I will never forget T7.

I heard a song y'all played that had a female singing bring it in the lyrics. Can you please tell me the artist and song name. Said something about shirt tag made in USA and mom and pop also. Wish I had more lyrics for you. Thanks

A few songs ago you all played a song and one of the lines in it was "that girls like playing with fire". Can you tell me the name of that song and who sings it. Thanks

Heard a song that I want to know who signs it please. It goes like this, she makes the canyons not look so deep, but in the dark of night. Something like that. Thank.

I'm a big fan of "mom and pop" radio stations. I started my career working at one many years ago. But sadly, those days are over, as small stations don't have the capital to hire good local talent, nor to provide live programming. Instead, they have to prostitute themselves to various networks, who provide programming, at the cost of being allowed to air their national sponsors within the programming. The individual stations have some free time for local sponsors, which is usually far insufficient. You can tell that a local station is not locally programmed in several ways. First, you don't hear a DJ except at the times when the station has local inserts such as news. Secondly, if you DO hear a DJ, they sound amazing, because they are NOT local folks, but pros operating from network studios, usually in L.A., N.Y., Chicago or Dallas. They NEVER give the exact time, as their affiliate stations are all over the country. Instead, they'll say, "It's 10 minutes before the hour." You get the drift. So don't bother to ask your local station what song was played, as it didn't originate from their location. At any rate, although KNAF should more properly have the call letters KORN, at least they are out there trying. I applaud them for that.
