Listener Comments and Reviews
Why can't I get KOOK 93.5, from Junction, online anymore? I LOVED that station! Now it keeps going to 1230 in Kerrville, with a lot of weird talk radio. I want to hear Kinky Friedman and all the great stuff they played on KOOK. Please help!

I live about 40 miles south of houston. We own property near Rocksprings and your radio station is the only FM station we get. We love your station and the music, but, always a but! Is there anyway when you do the news at the top of the hour on the weekends could you give the College/NFL football scores for those of us who's dad want let them have a TV at the deer camp? Again we love your station so keep it going!!

KOOK 93.5 FM is no more.
The station was sold. And now the Call Letters have been changed to KYKK 93.5 FM in Junction, Texas. KYKK 93.5 FM features Agricultural News, Ag Market Updates, and Ag Weather; and they play TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC. That means they do play SAM WHISKEY. The all new KYKK 93.5 FM also plays Texas Dance Hall Radio, Texas Aggies Sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, women's Sports (etc.) and the West Texas Friday Night Football Scoreboard show. Finally a radio station Junction can really be proud of!!

In the late 70’s I broadcasted on KMBL AM radio on Sunday afternoon! I played old country and my relief, I believe he was Steve, played Rock! Had fun!

Sorry if those instrumental interludes bother you. The computer system sometimes compiles an incomplete hour, and defaults to whats known as "Tops Up" top finish a complete 60 minutes of programming. The dead air silences have largely been eliminated by the "Tops Up" feature.
New ownership has been working on a whole host of pre-existing major engineering problems... unrelated to the music (minor detail, in comparison). Please be patient with us through this process. It took previous ownership 20 years of benign neglect to place this facility in such bad condition... its going to take a while to undo the multiple problems.
