As regards the movie list you are discussing this morning, if it was labeled, "Greatest one dimensional action-adventure movie characters since the 1960s" then I could agree with this list. It really chaps my hide when some child who hasn't watched a movie made before 1960 thinks he/she is qualified to make a list of the all time greatest anything. Perhaps this person should evaluate Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, or Richard Blaine from Casablanca, or Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind, or Michael Corleone from the Godfather series, or Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes, or Lawrence Olivier's Shakespearean characters or Lawrence of Arabia or Ghandi. Do I really need to go on? Thanks for reading my rant.
