I hear so many great songs on your station and have forgotten who the artist is. Why not name the artist after you play the song? An instrumental you played on about 1:40pm on Tuesday July 22nd has been driving us crazy because we don't remember the artist or name of the song. Love your station!

I need to know the name of a 60's song I heard last month , it sounded like it was Gerry and the pacemakers because it had that same beat like the one Don't let the sun catch you crying, it's driving me crazy! Also an instrumental song that was really fast caught my attention, don't know the name or artist, yes it would be nice if they at least had a website where you could go to to get the name and artist

Just wanted to say that I've enjoyed your programming for years from the Canadian side of the Niagara Frontier. Lenny keeps me laughing and enlightened (I know I'm not Italian, but it would help) and Tom Darro accompanies me on my work commute in the mornings Monday through Friday. I love the nostalgia and all the great tunes. I agree that it helps when the artist or band is named after the song or set of songs is played. Sometimes when can find it online when searching with a piece of a lyric, but not always. Keep up the great work, and we the listeners are very grateful!

love to listen to your station, but I find that there is more talk than oldies, just wondering why?
By: sandro elia on March 21, 2016

where has the music gone in the morning. Too much boring talk, bring back the oldies
By: sandro elia on April 11, 2016

I know that you are in the nacc building on Pine Ave. But when traveling down Buffalo Ave I saw the old WJJL 1440 metal letters just rusting away. I thought the putting out on the lawn at the nacc could be great advertisement and also a piece of art. Thanks

Live in Niagara-on-the-Lake Canada. Listen to your station everyday. Love Viewpoint, never miss it. Does Tom Darro/ station have an email address. So sorry to hear about Dell passing away. It’s like I know all the regulars that call in daily I’ve heard their voices so often. Wish I could get your station on my iPhone. To Janet’s question July 11, I believe the jewelry store was Costanza’s, but went out of business.

Good Day. Listen to your station all the time, and on the weekends there's a gentleman that plays an Elvis Show. I'm looking to connect with that person. Can you assist? Thank you kindly, V.

When traveling on Buffalo Ave in Niagara Falls I saw the old WWJL letters just rusting. Wouldn't it be great to retrieve them and put them on the lawn at the NACC as art and a little bit of advertising? Thanks

By: larry on November 29, 2018

I wish WJJL was on the internet like WECK.

I listen to Vince Anello radio talk show. I live in AZ and listen on blogtalkradio.com. It's a very interesting program except when blabbermouths call-in day in and day out and take away air time from other callers. If there was a time limit on each call...it would really help.

I listen to your station from Niagara falls Canada and I love the oldies but I do wish you could give the name of the artist also. I heard a song at 1:49 today (Monday ) I think it is called "Show ",I would like to know who sang it since it is such a beautiful song Thank you

At 6 16. A besutiful instrumental was played pn may 2. Please let mre know What os the name tytyty
By: Donna masiry on May 2, 2019

I think there are only a handful of stations in the U.S. left that allow their listeners to call in and express their opinions..WJJL is very unique and I am thankful they are keeping this tradition going. Vince Annello...your podcasts has very faint audio and it's getting worse. I love your show and listen from AZ.

Gentlemen: Could you please tell me one of the songs from your playlist today 8/14/19 early afternoon? The main lyric is "When I die, I would hope that I'll be, the type of man that you'd want me to be". What is the name and author of the tune? Thanks in advance - Bill.
By: Bill Howland on August 14, 2019

When I Die is by Motherlode from 1969. They were from Ontario.

By: Big Bopper on January 15, 2020

Is there any way to find out who some of the artists were who preformed at WJJL back in the 60's? My mom told us she played on the radio with Ramblin Lou when she was younger. Thanks for any help.

By: Wayne on July 19, 2020

Is Lenny Rico still on?
By: Teresa on August 15, 2020

I have been checking to see where and if i can find Lenny Rico on the radio. Is he still on and if so where?
By: Dolores Vivian on August 19, 2020

CASA RICO.....no longer on since station ownership changed. LENNY RICO'S PROGRAM was the main reason I listened to the station. Buffalo radio is not Buffalo radio without LENNY RICO!! HUGE MISTAKE in cutting his program! 1440 is no longer a pre-set button on my radio. HOPING TO FIND LENNY'S SHOW ON ANOTHER STATION.......THAT'S THE STATION I'LL LISTEN TO.
By: RUSS on August 24, 2020

The new music format is really bland, sleepy time music. I don't like it.
By: Corey on September 11, 2020

Listen to your program faithfully every day. Tom Darro followed by Vince. Where is Lenny Rico? He was fantastic. What are you people thinking cutting his show. Listened to your new person this, not a fan. At least for those of us who just enjoyed the music even if it was in Italian Lenny would always speak in English. WhT a loss! As in Virgil Ontario
By: Gayle Catney on November 8, 2020

Where's Lenny Rico? Big mistake not carrying the Lenny Rico show. No longer a listener to 1440.
