Introduction to Entrepreneurship featuring speaker, David Grant. SCORE presents part 2 of a free workshop series for Small Business and Non Profits. April 7th from 5:30-7:30pm at Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N Grace St Rocky Mount, in the 2nd floor computer lab. Light refreshments will be served.
If you're considering becoming a small business owner, you'll want to attend this seminar to learn what it takes, what challenges and pitfalls you can expect, and what proven steps you can take to greatly increase your chance of success. In this seminar, you'll explore how to test the feasibility of your idea to ensure it's the RIGHT one. You'll find tips for researching the market and your competitors, securing needed funds, and projecting your business results. Various legal business entities will be defined, and you'll learn about resources that can help you with licenses, permits, and other registrations needed for your business. And hopefully, you'll leave confident that you're well positioned to take those critical first steps toward entrepreneurship.

This Tuesday night Braswell Memorial Library and The Rocky Mount Chapter of SCORE will present part three of a four part series for small business and nonprofits. Join us upstairs in the computer lab June 2nd from 5:30 -7:30pm to talk with Jeremy Fisk about Social Media for Small Business.
The 4th program in the series will be July 2nd with tips for starting and running a nonprofit.
Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N. Grace St Rocky Mount N.C., programs are free and open to the public. It is not necessary to attend all 1st Tuesday workshops in the SCORE series.
