Listener Comments and Reviews

When I first heard The Legend was coming to Columbus I, as well as many other people I've spoke to, were very excited because we thought it was like 96.9 The Legend from Dothan Alabama. However, after being a listener for the past few months, we found this not to be the case. I grew up listening to Country music from the 1960's to present. When I think of Country legends I think of singers such as Ray Price, Eddie Arnold, Jim Reeves, Jim Ed Brown, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Little Jimmy Dickens, Conway Twitty, etc.. What we're hearing is more 1990's, some late 1980's. While they are still better than the current so called Country music, which it's not (rapping is not Country), most are not considered to be "Country Legends" by any stretch of the imagination. Before you lose your core fan base, please consider actually playing what the station name implies, Country legends. I understand this may not be practical for every song, but put a true legend in every third or fifth order for example. Your fan base will grow, I'll guarantee. Thank you.
