I’M SO SAD!!!!!!! My husbands old high school bud called him out of the blue to hook up for the Atlanta Seger show, seeing him back in 78 in Cleveland was both of their first concerts ever. We all live in GA now & the plans worked out great as it was also my 60'th birthday gift from the hubby. We met for dinner, got to the venue, standing in line for beer, heard J Geils kick it up for their first song and our friend Tom just collapsed. Bad scene, ambulance had to rush him to the ER & we missed the show!! Good news it was just an allergic reaction to something at dinner & he's fine, but damn it, this were my B-day gift!! Now trying to get tics for the Nashville gig, any tips on how to get good seats, we're trying to surprise our buddy who got sick - HELP!!! Trish the Dish, Atlanta

Please please ask people not to leave pets in their cars this week. With the heat index going up to 108 dogs will die very quickly in a vehicle even with windows cracked. At 70degrees...within five minutes the dogs will sucumb rapidly. Also please remind people to make sure their pets have some sort of shade for chained animals. Thank you.I have found more than one dog in a car as of late..panting and panting.

Dear WJXA, My husband (Colonel, retired) Chris and I (Army Veteran) are on the Ft. Huachuca (Arizona) Military Holiday Ball Committee. Unfortunately, many of our committee members are new and have been unable to secure any donated give-away or raffle items for presentation at the Military Ball on the 4th of December at Starr Pass. If you have any promotional CDs, Support our Troops items, posters, T-shirts or other items you would like to donate, we would be very appreciative. Additionally, if you have any other points of contact at radio stations or other venues who are supporters of the U.S. military, please forward the information to me at my yahoo address. Thank you for supporting the troops! Sue Miller
