Soloist’s auditions Sunday, October 29th from 4 to 6 p.m. Aiken Choral Society invites you to sing along with the chorus or as a soloist at “ Messiah Sing Along” for the community on Sunday, Nov. 26th, 4 p.m. Soloist’s auditions will be held for the “Sing-Along” on Sunday October 29th from 4-6 pm at Aiken’s First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield Street. Doors open 6:30 p.m. The chorus in full renaissance apparel will be directed by Dr. Maureen Simpson. "GREAT AMERICAN MUSICALS" SPRING CONCERT Aiken Choral Society invites you to “Great American Musicals” spring concert Sunday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Maureen Simpson. South Boundary Singers will be joining Aiken Choral Society plus it will be the first collaboration with North Augusta High School Chorus under the direction of Christopher Leyseth. Songs featured are excerpts from the musicals Wicked, Godspell, Camelot, Sweeny Todd, Mame and more. Concert will be held at Aiken’s First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield Street, NE. Aiken Choral Society is the first established community choral group in Aiken County at 47 years strong. This Sat Nov 3, is the Team Lonati 5K, 8am, 100 Riverpark Dr. North Augusta, SC 29841. Michelle Lonati, age 25, class of 2020, The Dental College of Georgia is undergoing cancer treatment for Hodgkins Lymphomia and also giving back by putting on this run to raise blood cancer awareness with all proceeds going to a local non-profit organization called Team Maggie For A Cure. She is one remarkable young lady whom I hope you will support and meet her this Sat at the Team Lonati 5K at 8am. AIKEN CHORAL SOCIETY PRESENTS 2019 SPRING CONCERT Aiken Choral Society invites you to their Spring concert on Sunday, April 28th , 4:00 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Maureen Simpson. Selections an eclectic mix of musical theatre, opera and operetta with songs from Mame, Man of La Mancha, Macbeth by Verdi plus music by Leonard Bernstein . North Augusta High School Chorus also performing under the direction of Christopher Leyseth. David Brown is accompanist. Location is Aiken’s First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield Street, NE.
