I am stunned that you would get rid of a GREAT program (the Rude Awaking) to play a bunch of junk!!! Bring back the boys of TALK!!!

Goodby old friend. Sad to see you go the way of the dinosaur.
Keep your music, I will get my talk radio fix elsewhere.

Too bad you've become a victim of "Normalcy Bias". I keep trying to delete 94.3 preset on my radio but maybe there is hope you may come to your senses.

What a shock to hear the garbage on this station. Bring back Glenn Beck. I will change my preset to AM 760!!

Where is talk radio??? How depressing.

The new station plays nothing but crap! I will never listen to this station again. Mr. Prirkle, I thought you had more since than this.

The Music sucks. Miss my favorite talk shows. I used to tune it 18 hrs. a day except weekends. Now, zero hours listening to this station. 94.3 used to be such a valuable service to the community, now it is useless bandwidth waste.

We are very disappointed with your new lineup. Bring back Talk Radio. The audience you may be appealing to now is limited. We are forced to find talk radio elsewhere and no longer listen to your station. This can't be a profitable decision for your station!

Didn't want to have to go back to HHH as he's a goody-tw-shoes.... But Rude Awakening has been GUTTED. There is only about 10 minutes of talk each morning, followed by angst-ridden leftist drivel music... when Mike, and Terry do talk, it is now mindless news items... It wouldn't be so bad if they had returned to 94 the X type music, not this sappy unheard-of crap.

LOVE to hear BEAZ in the morning! Is there a certain during the day he is on regularly? I don't want to miss it!

I just happened to tune in this afternoon on a return trip home from downtown Knoxville. I am 63-years-old and have always loved Rock & Roll. I wasn't sure what music I was listening to on the way home, but I liked it....one after another. I tried to look up a song to see who it was by, but unfortunately your website is under construction. Don't pay any attention to the nay-sayers who wrote to tell you how much the miss the old talk show. The music is great. Keep up the good work and I will abandon WIMZ forever!! Thanks!!

bad decision on changing format , nothing worth listening to on your station
By: Joe on December 5, 2015
Great choice changing formats. We needed good new rock back on the air in Knoxville. Talk radio has been dead for 30+ years. no one puts the radio on in their car to hear people talking.

94Z should stop playing alternative hits, it doesn't help that the X was a well remembered "Active Rock" format... If 94Z really stepped up and started playing new hard rock/ alternative metal along with some emo- alternative and pop punk as "Knoxville's New Rock- Alternative then maybe y'all might rise up from struggle of being on air...

Love this station!! Happy to finally have something other than country and rock....
By: Em on July 11, 2018
Excellent station. I did not listen to the talk station so I am only going by the current line up and find it very satisfying as few stations play alternative rock.

This was one of my presets. I drove home Thursday morning listening to The Morning After with Jake and Tory as usual. I tune in Friday afternoon hoping to hear Pearl Jam or Nirvana, since 90s grunge is a big part of the format...only to find soft crap from the 70s playing. It was a bad way to discover the format had changed to music that sucks if you want some Soundgarden. I'll be removing it from the stereo buttons until they bring back Alternative.

New format is same ole same ole classic rock you hear on many other stations in Knoxville. I’m so disappointed. Why can’t we have an alternative rock station playing new alternative rock music you don’t hear on blah pop stations or another country station. It’s a shame. A whole entire market goes unserved by yet another boring over played old classic rock music.

I miss it too, Lisa. Really sucks.

Be sure to let the Bible interpret the regular news instead of the news interpreting the Bible because God is in control of the people on earth. Golden Rule! Read this article from NBC4 News below for yourself!

D.C. Is America Becoming A Corrupt Satanic Trash Dump Due To Crime And Terrorism As A Man Was Fatally Stabbed at Union Station, 2 Arrested: Police
Union Station was closed for hours after the attack but reopened Sunday afternoon and many citizens soon said that they want out to get away from the thefts and violence
D.C. Police and Metro Transit Police have arrested two suspects after a man was fatally stabbed at an entrance to the Union Station Metro.
Police responded to a stabbing about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, shortly after Metro opened for the day. D.C. Fire confirmed the victim was declared dead at the scene.
Officers announced they were looking for a man and a woman who fled the scene.
Police announced both were in custody several hours after the stabbing. Officers haven't released details about the suspects' identities nor any charges they face.
The stabbing appears to have occurred at a ticketing area near the Metro station entrance. Police closed off an entrance on First Street NE with crime tape during the investigation.
Union Station was closed for nearly five hours while police investigated. The station opened Sunday afternoon and Red Line trains are no longer bypassing.
Metro said also a police investigation concluded earlier at Gallery Place, which is two stops from Union Station on the Red Line. Police have not said whether or not the two investigations are related.
Trains are no longer single-tracking between Judiciary Square and Farragut North. Normal service has resumed, Metro says.
