WOLR 98.9 FM Radio Station Information

WOLR is a low-power FM radio station broadcasting at 98.9 MHz. The station is licensed to Williamsport, PA.

Found this station by mistake. I am enjoying it. The instrumentals of hymns are especially soothing when I can't sleep at night. Is this station new to our area? I am sharing the station info with a friend.

I enjoy scanning stations to listen to Christian broadcasting. However, I was upset to hear a preacher speaking hatred of the Catholic Church on your station. Catholics are your brothers and sisters in Christ if you are Christian. In fact, your Bible, which you love and teaches you not to hate and not to judge, originated from the Catholic Church. Please, for the sake of God and your souls, be respectful of others. There are many Catholics praying for you and for this whole world. The Catholic Church is the Church began by Christ and His apostles. That's powerful. Check it out and get your facts straight before you preach hate on the radio please. I'm in the Williamsport area 3-4 times a week and look forward to listening to 98.9 WORL. I appreciate the Bible-based talk shows and programs like Bible Answers for Life, Voice of Prophecy, and Jesus 101. I think the kids programs are great. There is so much more. I don't see this station as unloving. Yes, they are Protestant-based, but their beliefs are based in the Bible. I love my Catholic friends.
