We want to tell you about a very important and fun event taking place October 30th, 2016 at the PGA's Saint Lucie Trail golf course. We are having the Saint Lucie County Fire Department to the event to do a "FIRE BALL DROP! This is a spin on a hole in one contest, where the SLCFD takes all of the golf balls we sell and dumps them from high above the Driving range and drops them all at once. The 3 closest golf balls to the hole( target ) will win $500- $250- and $100 for Closest, second closest, and third closest. So far we have sold nearly 1,000 golf balls. The balls sell for $5.00 each or 5 balls for $20.00 This event is to raise funds and awareness for Treasure Coast Down Syndrome families- October is Down Syndrome awareness month. To recap- we have Down Syndrome families on a PGA property the SLCFD a unique Fire Ball Event, along with a golf outing with a hole in one car potential being won as well. There is so much more we thought it was important to share this with you and your listeners. For more information, please call Kevin Dougherty @ 631-258-1863.
