We want to tell you about a very important and fun event taking place October 30th, 2016 at the PGA's Saint Lucie Trail golf course.
We are having the Saint Lucie County Fire Department to the event to do a "FIRE BALL DROP!
This is a spin on a hole in one contest, where the SLCFD takes all of the golf balls we sell and dumps them from high above the
Driving range and drops them all at once. The 3 closest golf balls to the hole( target ) will win $500- $250- and $100 for
Closest, second closest, and third closest.
So far we have sold nearly 1,000 golf balls. The balls sell for $5.00 each or 5 balls for $20.00
This event is to raise funds and awareness for Treasure Coast Down Syndrome families- October is Down Syndrome awareness month.
To recap- we have Down Syndrome families on a PGA property the SLCFD a unique Fire Ball Event, along with a golf outing with a hole in one car potential being won as well. There is so much more we thought it was important to share this with you and your listeners.

2019 MARTIN COUNTY OPEN STUDIOS TOUR JANUARY 19, 20 & 21, 2019
The Martin Artisans Guild will be hosting the third annual Martin County Open Studio Tour (art studio tour), January 19, 20 & 21, 2019. There will be thirty-three artists hosting their work in twenty-three studio locations during the weekend event, which runs from 10 am to 5 pm all three days.
The art studio tour features local artists working in a wide range of mediums: painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media and textiles. Artist studios are located in the Jensen Beach, Stuart, Port Salerno, Palm City and Hobe Sound areas. Tour participants will be able to see actual working studios, where original artwork is produced and interact with the artists. Original artwork will be available for purchase.
The first studio tour in 2017 was well attended and highly successful for all involved. The tour has become a tradition every January in Martin County. The event is free to the public and information booklets will be available before the event at numerous locations as well as at each studio on the tour. A free downloadable app is also available with artists and location information. The tour provides a wonderful opportunity for the community to experience the process of making art.
