Hi, I want to start by saying WCOZ is the only radio station I listen to. That being said, I do have a complaint. There are many days because of my work schedule the only news I hear is your reports at 7:00 A.M. and/or 5:00 P.M. Many times you play the wrong tape for the news briefs. You play the one from the day before. It is very frustrating. I know mistakes happen, but these are never acknowledged and fixed. Doesn't anyone listen to what is happening on the air or do you figure we won't notice? I'm sure that may happen some days, but like Tues., May 31 - the news at 5 talked about the Memorial Day parades that happened earlier in the day (only it was yesterday). The day AFTER election day the 5:00 news talked about getting out to vote - there is only one hour left. This morning I did hear the 6:00 news and it was yesterday's, the correct tape was played at 7:00, but why couldn't it have been fixed at 6:00? It's rare that I get to hear both. Why can't these mistakes be identified and the correct tape played? We are all humans and we make mistakes, just own up to them.

What has happened to Buddy King in the morning? The contests, also. Have you gone to a totally music format? We kind of miss his interaction...Just sayin'.

Where are your DJ's? Have you gone music solo? A radio station is more than the music or format that the station chooses. It's personality is developed by it's DJ's, its radio personalities. I grew up listening to radio. Part of what makes a station enjoyable is the DJ's. The DJ can be company to anyone who is alone. I use to listen to Oldies 94.3, 95% of the time. Now with its new format, it has become my last resort for a radio station. It seems so strange that an Oldies radio station would get rid of its DJ's, one of the very memories we Oldie listeners remember most. DJ's like "Wolfman Jack", "Larry Lujack", and now "Buddy King". I prefer to listen to a radio station that still has personality, DJ's.

They don't play Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead. They lack playing Ratt, Dokken, etc.. Only Poison they play is every rose.
