Listener Comments and Reviews

I'm not sure if I'm glad or sad that Clear Channel owns this station. They are one of the larger broadcasters for The Rush Limbaugh Show. Fox News has called Rush a "controversial right-wing radio host." When Fox News says that, you KNOW he must be controversial.

This station is a prime example of why good local radio is going away. Clear Channel now, I Heart Media is a huge corporation which owns over 800 radio stations. They totally control the content, They have destroyed the competition. You have to listen to what they say is good for you to hear. There is no more good and fun local radio. Only their version of what they think radio should be.

I am Author of the DNA of the universe book. I belive that the universe is not flat, and the Big Bang is not the foundation of the universe. My book proves these two theories. I would love to describe the real creation of the universe in simple form that every one understand in your radio station. my contact # is 760-685-3949. This is one of the hotest subject these days. Specially this year is one hundred year anniversary of Albert Einstein theory of general relativity. You can chech my book on www.amazon.com which it came few days ago.

Your inclusion of Rubin Nosferatu to your list of revolving 6 PM hosts is a disappointment to me. I like conservative talk and find his liberal nonsense ignorant and annoying. With him in your line-up, your slogan might be more accurately stated," San Diego's news and information, and disinformation station."

Blame for the Border Crisis The promotion of sanctuary states and cities are part of the blame as they are portraying the country as a welcoming environment for illegal immigration and to s being promoted by those who want this administration to fail. The mass illegal immigration is going to be used to show that the current administration is inept to control and needs a Democrat to be in office to handle the crisis. I also believe this is a way to destroy the American way of a capitalism economy and bring about the socialist government to be implemented as the influx of immigration will require government assistance to be able to survive.

Back in the mid 1950s, when I was a Marine at Camp Pendleton just up the road from you, we’d listen to KOGO. At that time they played middle of the road music. One day they began promoing a format change. We Marines got all worked up about it. Come the day for the switch, they stopped playing music, ran a re-broadcast of the New York Yankees/San Francisco World Series game they considered the great game ever. Then they switched over to rock and roll, not a real popular thing at the time. After I got out of the Marines in 1962 I became a deejay playing country music for my hometown WBAP Fort Worth/Dallas. I hope I’ve gotten most of the facts right of the switchover. I’ve always considered that KOGO promo the best radio promotion I’ve ever heard. I wish you were not talk. It’s so boring and predictable. The radio was made for music. Have a good one. David Perkins (Charlie Brown)

I should have read your history first. It was 1961 and I was back from deployment and at Camp Pendleton again. The switchover was going from KFSD to KOGO. Anyway, it was great radio.

Hi Carl....Like ur stance on Homelessness. Compassion w Accountability! Yes, we are just letting them die out here on the streets. I live her in Linda Vista & see it everyday & reach out to them most every day! I know first hand bc my sister is one of them. I called the police 5xs on her & they won't take her unless she basically puts a gun to her head or some else's! Ridiculous! I understamd freedom to control ur own life but this is out of control. I write as i look across the street at 4 different individuals w little Hope & only resort is looking for thier next fix!.......... I find there is also a great disconnect bw thepolice n any Politicians or any civil leaders. However, i do give props to the IHOT Police Team. Goes around individually reaching out to people. ----------Sinerely, Mike Page Ps---Please send me more info or connections
