I listened to KSYN-FM when I lived in Joplin, MO back in 1977-1978. They had a nightly lcal talk show from 11pm to 1am titled Sandman Forum. A couple of the local ''characters' who called in almost every half hour were nicknamed 'The Karate Man' and 'The Karate Lady', and always complained about vice President Nelson Rockefeller, with the verbal accent of ROCKEFELLER...
