Listener Comments and Reviews

This is not a comment but a request for HELP ... A situation at Lackland, TX AFB at which an Airman (Nena Jorden) is being held for an unknown investigation and is currently being held in the medical unit. After contacting Maxwell AFB who referred me to leaders at Lackland to include the Base Commander's office (Edwards) and the Command Chief's office (Orrie) who then referred me to the 737 Group Commander's office (Edmington) who referred me to the Senior Master Sergeant (Bell) and Master Sergeant's offices (Walls), NO ONE could answer why Airman Jorden is being held. She has now been in the medical unit for over a month waiting to sign off on an LON (Letter of Notice), but was told that because she was a witness to an investigation Lackland wanted to hold her for questioning. Jorden who enlisted and went for basic training became ill after 2 weeks in. At first the unit placed her in a med hold status pending their treatment of her condition. Later, she was told she would be released to see her personal physician, and could re-enlist once cleared. Instead, Jorden has been detained due to an investigation now turned over to OSI at Maxwell. Also, since her placement in the medical unit she along with other female airmen were moved to a dorm that has unhealthy living conditions … a non-working restroom and no air conditioning. They have been sleeping in temperatures of heat exceeding 85 degrees at night. In talking with the liaison, Chief Dillion, he rudely stated to my husband "Do what you got to do!" Please help us get our daughter home. Thank you.

Have you thought about a special gift for a long time advertiser that they will cherish forever?? Or, for that special employee?? I’ve sold 636 radios, worldwide, since 2009. I do exemplary restorations. I also will gift wrap and mail to the recipient. THANK YOU. Joseph F Rebar Shamokin, PA www.radioattic.com/rebar
