Hi, I just heard the most beautiful music this evening and want to know the name of the piece. Would you please help me with this searc? It was on KAGU today, started around 5:50 and ended at 6:00 p.m. It was a short piece and it was by either violin or viola. If you could email me the information (the piece name & soloist name) I would appreciate you fur the rest of my life!! Thank you so much for your time and help!

I am inquiring about the violinist and orchestra that played Ralph Vaughn Williams (not sure of the title, maybe the Lark ascending?) on May 25th at about 5:50-6PM. I have heard this piece many times, but this was exceptionally beautiful. Unfortunately you did not ID the piece, performer or group. Please email me this information if at all possible. Interestingly, when I read the comment above, I thought someone else was inquiring of the same piece...until I read the date! Thank-you!

I am asking that you share this on your public Facebook or social media website. We believe Matthew is in the Spokane area. We are desperately trying to find and bring him home. Any help is appreciated. I cannot attach a copy of the flyer, but you can find it on his mother's facebook page. Thank you, Chris https://www.facebook.com/sarah.gleichmananfeldt

Two things: First, I spend a lot of time in the car and always listen to KAGU there. Most of the pieces are long and I'll tune in just as a familiar one is playing. Sometimes when it ends, it is not identified on the air. That is very frustrating. Please, please identify each piece both before and after; also, of course, identify the performers and composers. Second. What is that wonderful piece played by Winton Marsalis where he triple-tongues his way just about all the way through? I look forward to your response. Thanks, Linda Peterson Spokane

I am trying :to find the piece that was just played ending about 9:50 am on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The movement playing when I turned the radio on had beautiful flute highlights. I hear a part of the name, something about Italia by the Cleveland Symphony. That's all that I hear. I'd love to share the movement with my daughter who plays flute in the Youth Symphony. Thank you for your excellent music station. I only with I could access the playlist online, but so far am not able to find a way.

I think that the stores need to temporarily change their policy and allow the elderly people (60 & over) to shop in all grocery stores for the first 4 hours they are open. Before all the hoarders get in & whip everything out. If were really supposed to take care of them first, well then lets start by doing something like this. I hope this topic will be put out there for all to get on board with. Thank you for your time.

As a Ferris orchestra kid I am very interested in this station. There is no way to check what has recently played on this channel. I am trying to find a certain song and it is not available to find.

KAGU needs to stream on Tunein or iHeart radio. I'm an alumni of Gonzaga and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I would love to listen to them here in California.

i listen to your station on the weekend and all i hear is horn music playing or drums....don’t you ever play the nice soft jazz i loved when in chicago from the old masters like dinah washington, lou rawls, george benson, sarah vaughan, nat king cole, duke ellington, etc. etc.?? to me that is jazz..yet every time i turn it on it’s someone playing horn music..geez..would love some variety for a change..kc

At Approximately 10 am this morning (6/15) you played a violin piece that I think was titled "City of My Dreams". I can find nothing by that title on my computer. Can you tell me the title and artist for that piece? Thank you.

It seems there are a number of people requesting the titles of unknown pieces heard on this station. Add me to the group! Perhaps a playlist could be implemented? A string arrangement caught my attention at 1:06 7/28/2021, anyone able to name the composer or title?

Trying to find the name of the piece playing at 1:45PM on Saturday, August 7 2021. Thank you!
By: Wendy on August 7, 2021

Until recently the names of the pieces used to be displayed on the radio using RDS, but for the last few weeks it's only been displaying the station identifier. I already know which station I'm listening to =) I don't usually know which piece I'm listening to. I hope they go back to displaying the much more useful song information!

I listen to KAGU every day all day. Sometimes I do not remember the name of the peace or composer and would like to look it up. Since the programming is purchased I’m sure a playlist exists. Please find a way to publish the playlist online for each day. From this website it appears others would like the same. Thank you.

I would like to suggest a classical music piece to listen to on your station. Do you allow requests? I have never heard it played before on your station.

I was listening to KAGu this morning, 2/25/22, from 11:00-11:30. What was the piece that was on? It is very familiar but I did not hear the name or composer. I would very much appreciate knowing. Thank you By Peggy McDonald on Feb. 25, 2022

Wanting to know what song played on Monday, June 26 from about 6:15-6:30pm. After the song finished, the only bit of information I could remember was the violinist, who was Gil Shaham. I only heard the later part of the piece but it sounded like a solo. It was so beautiful and would like to be able to research it to listen to it completely. I used to play the viola and loved my young days in orchestra. Thank you.

Love the format and programming. Just (great) music with little-to-no interruption. Carry on! (BTW, for those seeking a playlist, a fine substitute is the Shazam app on your smartphone. Highly accurate; surprisingly, most of the time it even gets the actual artist/arrangement correct!)
