Listener Comments and Reviews

To James Allen, on your Facebook info page, you posted you "Host the afternoon Hymntime Gospel Music Program weekdays 1pm to 6pm also acct executive selling (Commercials) airtime to Bussiness as well as Prechers, ministers and churches." You also posted you are Master control Operator for WAPK-TV channel 36/WKPT-TV-Channel 19. Education: East Tennessee State University Class of 1997 • Radio Broadcasting. Minored in Psychology • Mass communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Management You of all people as a host for a Gospel Program shouldn't be criticizing people like you did Rob Williams ("Makes you look stupid!") You minored in Psychology and should have learned better. Have you ever heard of the word respect? Your Mass communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Management may be for your job, but YOU don’t manage Rob William’s job or WJHL. For a BOY like you and all your education and/or credentials…..you can’t even spell words like Hymn Time, Business, Businesses, or Preachers. LOL !!! Clean out your own backyard before you try to clean out someone else’s backyard and live what you preach!!! Rob Williams is a HAPPY person and does an excellent job as a Meteorologist and as a speaker, etc. for other events, etc. Maybe you are jealous of Rob or just so unhappy yourself??? Obviously, you could use some “giddy” and excitement in your life!!! I’m sure Rob could teach you a lesson or two, especially on spelling, being happy, mass communications, etc

JAMES ALLEN'S POST TO ROB WILLIAMS (Meteorologist ON WJHL TV): James Allen: I can't stand it when the weather people get all "giddy" when they talk about snow. Just tell us and "Don't be happy about it!!! Makes you look stupid! on 02/09/2012.

I sent James Allen a message about criticizing Rob Williams on his weather forecast. This is the response I received from James Allen: "You wasted a lot of time and effort for nothing.. your opinion means nothing...." Is this how James Allen feels about people's opinions on what he says or posts about other people??? I'm sure James' attitude will affect the opinions of his radio listeners about him when they read this. Should James Allen be a host for the afternoon Hymn Time Gospel Music Program weekdays 1pm to 6pm and also an acct. executive selling (Commercials) airtime to Businesses as well as Preachers, ministers and churches with an attitude of calling a prominent citizen, Rob Williams "stupid"???

Mark Hatcher's "General Store" program is the best in the area. Thank you Mark for being so patient and a friend to the community. Also, your gospel music is great. Greg 4/30/14

Your decision to terminate your weekday DJ lineup was done in poor taste. Your listeners considered your DJs as extensions of their own families. For such a marketplace as family oriented as the tri-cities, I can't help but wonder if, in the grand scheme of things, such a decision doesn't prove to be a costly one..especially in the form of ratings. It shows very poor taste, in business and in general.

READ THIS ARTICLE REAL GOOD FROM NBC4 NEWS TO SOON LEARN MORE OR OUR CURRENT EVENTS BELOW! US MILITARY Political coverage from NBC4. Published 2 hours ago • Updated 1 hour ago US to Send 3,000 More Troops to Middle East as Reinforcements Defense officials said the troops are from the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. They are in addition to about 700 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne who deployed to Kuwait earlier this week after the storming of the U.S. Embassy compound in Baghdad by Iran-backed militiamen and their supporters Protesters demonstrate over the U.S. airstrike in Iraq that killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Tehran, Iran, Friday Jan. 3, 2020. Iran has vowed “harsh” and has plans to retaliate and Americans supporting Iran plan to loot and riot in major cities across America and police and security will need the military to help fight crime and terrorism on streets and local neighborhoods. The United States is sending nearly 3,000 more Army troops to the Mideast as reinforcements in the volatile aftermath of the killing of an Iranian general in a strike ordered by President Donald Trump and Trump told American troops to “not only take out the terrorists but to clean out their bank accounts and reverse the problems that corrupt democratic satanic barack Obama did to America by supporting dirt and trash in Iraq and Syria during his administration! Our Good Republican Christians are here to safeguard America and our Good Friend Israel as Benjamin Netanyahu and I are Good Friends”, CNN, NBC4, Fox 5 and USAToday news officials said Friday. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a decision not yet announced by the Pentagon, said the troops are from the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. They are in addition to about 700 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne who deployed to Kuwait earlier this week after the storming of the U.S. Embassy compound in Baghdad by Iran-backed militiamen and their supporters. The dispatching of extra troops reflects concern about potential Iranian retaliatory action for the killing Thursday of Gen. Qassem Soleimani, commander of Iran's Quds Force. But it also runs counter to Trump's repeated push to extract the United States from Mideast conflicts. Prior to this week's troop deployments, the administration had sent 14,000 additional troops to the Mideast since May, when it first publicly mentioned that Iran was planning attacks on U.S. interests and helping thugs rob and murder at all schools, colleges, camps, stores, shopping centers, banks and all radio and television news stations across America and abroad.
